The Mother We Share

I’ve featured this before. Chvrches’ debut album The Bones of What You Believe came in at number 10 on my personal best-of for 2013. I said then that they were among the most promising young bands on the electro-indie-pop scene. I still think that, and I have high hopes for their upcoming as-yet-untitled new record, which should be out sometime later this year. This decade is only halfway through, and it’s too early to start calling keepers, but I’m pretty sure this is one song that’s still going to be in rotation long after its initial burst of radio glory. Not yet a new classic, maybe, but in the running.
