About
This is my music and opinion forum. I want to promote artists I admire, share my feelings, and rant if I want to. Every day (god permitting) I will post a song or video that I feel passionately about. I may include some info about the artist. I will also discuss anything that crosses my mind in relation to the song, or at random. To give this exercise some structure I will be going down my favorites list in abc order. If something demands my immediate attention, I will go ahead and post it. I hope this will be a fun way to discover new songs.
If you wanna know what I’m listening to at any given time, here’s my Last.fm

HI there
Found your blog by slavishing scouring the web for info on Jack White (after being a “yeah, those White Stripes, they’re alright” sort of person for a few years, I had a blinding realisation over Xmas that Jack White is the most absolutely amazing musician of our generation and have been trying to absorb as much as possible)
I noticed you’ve got some Nina Hagen songs up there. Have you heard the Apocalptica song that she features on? They covered Seeman by Rammstein, and it is absolutely breathtaking. The song, even in its original, sticks in your guts and grabs your attention, but with the cellos and this powerful contralto it just melts your soul. Amazing shit.

Hi Lady Garfunkel,
Great blog! You have excellent taste. If you like Bowie, Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen and Pink Floyd then you might like The Mad Pride. The music is free (Creative Commons) and combines folk noir, 60s psychedelia, darkwave, neoclassical and post-rock. There are 34 free mp3 downloads on the Facebook and Reverbnation pages below (and 28 free mp3s on Soundcloud). All the best either way.
Take care,
Rowan

Just letting you know that there is a sequel to The Unscratchables…it’s called “Tooth and Nail” and was published in Italy in 2010. Have you read “The Lamplighter” also by Anthony O’Neill? Utterly brilliant…and scary.
