Kilroy Was Here, favorite cheesy 80′s concept album. It makes not a lick of difference that by 1983 concept albums were done, done and done. Except to make the cheesiness that much more tasty. And it certainly was climactic for Styx. They’d never been better. At this point, I’m finding some of the ballads just too, too much to endure, but the rockers still got it. Mr Roboto was the big ‘un, but there were plenty of other highlights – Heavy Metal Poisoning, Cold War, High Time, and this.
