Liking this Springsteen song gives me not the tiniest smidgen of embarrassment. I do feel sheepish about rocking out to Born In the You-Know-Where and Born to You-Know-What. The former is too loaded politically, and the latter is too anthemic. I never feel comfortable with Springsteen’s blue-collar affiliations either.
