I watched about half-a-dozen various concert clips for this song and couldn’t find a single one that sounds decent. The verdict – and personal experience supports me on it – must be that Death Cab For Cutie aren’t very good live. That’s sad. I really like their records. It’ s a bummer they can’t replicate that sound on stage. It’s like the different parts of the song don’t hang together without studio glue or something.
